More complaints and more headaches today. Just have to make it to Monday, and hopefully my body will finally adjust. We had oatmeal this morning mixed with some peanut butter and cut bananas! Not bad, considering we can’t use brown sugar or milk, which are typically crucial elements of a good bowl of oatmeal.

Then I made some baked eggplant for lunch, topped with cherry tomatoes that I lightly sauteed in olive oil, and sprinkled with lime.

God, thanks for getting me through another day. Please continue to heal me, body and soul, with this fast. Forgive my groaning and moping as I push forward, and please speak words of encouragement in my times of suffering. Amen.
